Was in NY yesterday and had the worst experience ever with your company. I am sure by now you've had lots of complaints. We also had our exchange student from Germany and 1 senior with us which have respectively had overall terrible bad impression and still recovering from prolonged cold exposure and walking (the senior). They were the reason we decided to try the bus tour in the first place and what a mistake. You were quick to sell lots of tickets, knowing full well how ill prepared you were for the crowds. We had to wait over an hour at the stops. In the end, on our way back, we were picked up by another line due to insufficient buses provided by you. We only got to see what we actually walked, no guided tour or anything. We paid for nothing but aggravation! |

My family and I recently visited New York City during the holiday season. We decided to take the Holiday Light Bus Tour and I amust say we were not at all disappointed. The points of interest were well planned and the knowledgeable and friendly guidance from our tour guide, Alan (Allen) was most appreciated!!! We were so impressed with how he got off the bus with us as we toured the Grand Central Terminal, pointing out the various architechtural features and provided much historical information! As for our bus driver, whom Alan referred to as Zoo (I believe), all I can say is, "Thank you for your patience and diligence as we made our way around all the NYC gridlock!!!" Our experience on this tour made our trip to New York City all the more memorable and enjoyable!!! Thank you for such a GREAT time!!! I would highly recommend this bus tour to everyone!!! |

Today (21/12) I went to the night tour and it was great. The guide told us that they will be replaced by stored narration. Please, keep the good guys and replace the bad ones. Thank you. |

Worst experience ever - I will be writing to someone at this company. The one bus we were on broke down and the following bus had only partial cover and my whole party was stuck in the pooring rain on a very cold day. Never again and will make sure as a Travel Agent I will never advertise for this bus company. |

We are in NY and we have choose Citysight to discover the Big Apple. Big mistake !
Yesterday evening we have waiting one hour for a bus at Fulton Stop ( brookling bridge)! Each time a citysight bus is arrived it was full and we are just the second stop ! After more than one hour we have decide to take the Subway !
We have seen each ten minutes competition bus compared to citysight bus only every 20 minutes !
It seems that your company is used to do that as per comments of your employee when we claim !
We hope to obtain a discount our free attraction !

Just returned from New York City and since we were only there for a couple of days, we did the 2 day tour. This was worth every penny! The best part was the 90 minute Manhattan boat tour....that was worth the price of the tour itself! Being able to get on and off the bus at our convenience was a great way to explore NYC and hit all of the hot spots. Thanks for helping make our trip memorable! |

I really enjoyed doing the ride with CitySightsNY, and I really enjoyed the attention of Mr. Barry Sheriff, he stands in front of Marriot in Times Square. He gave suggestions to enjoy the ride and explained to me with great patience because I do not speak much English and not Spanish.
Thank you for everything

Overall, enjoyed the Super NY 3-day tour this past week. A few points: Not enough stops to start the tours & they need to be better marked. The tour guide makes a huge difference - our 1st one for the Downtour Tour had no personality, mispronounced Manhatten each time she said it & seemed to have just woken up. Our night tour guide was fantastic - wish I could remember his name for I would give him kuddos - great personality & interesting facts & his love of the city was obvious. |

My family and I spent the day in New york City on October 15, 2011. We were excited to use City Sights to get around. The tour guides were all friendly and informative. We have one huge complaint though. It was a very busy weekend and the buses were packed. We waited in line for 20, 30 and one time 40 minutes to get on a bus. The other popular bus company had stops nearby and we were very frustrated watching bus after bus come to pick up the people who used that company. For every one City Sights bus that came for our line 5 or 6 Grey Line buses came. That was extremely frustrating and disappointing. |

On Friday October 14, 2011 we took your tour of Brooklyn from guide Matt and driver Victor. Matt was incredible! He had a passion for his job that made everybody on the tour have a fantastic time. We have taken many tours across the world and by far Matt was the best ever. I wanted to comment and hopefully you will let him know from his new friends in San Diego California he is doing a fantastic job and we wish him the best. We had a great time in NYC with your whole tour but Matt was so above and beyond I had to let everybody know here and wanted you to know there. Thank you again for a fantastic weekend trip--thanks in part to Matt!!

I had a terrible experience. Our bus kept breaking down in the middle of intersections and the company waited 45 minutes to bring out a new bus. When the new bus finally came it had a cover over the first half of it so we couldn't see anything. I have called to try to file a complaint and get a refund but they put me on hold and no one answers. I am so disappointed that I spent $44 and 4 hours of my NY vacation on this company. |

Me, my wife, my daughter and her fiance were very dissapointed on our last visit yesterday. We planned on meeting at your main office and take your down town tour. We planned to eat at the South Street Seaport. To our dissapointment that stop was omited at the last minute. We then decided to get off at your stop #18 and eat in one of the restaurants in that area. After dinner our plan was to take your bus to the end and then hop on another bus that will take us back to Penn Station. We thought we left enough time knowing that you shut down at 6pm. We got to the stop at around 4pm. To our amazements the next 4 buses drove by without stopping with the guides yelling out to us that they were full. Finnally the 5th bus stopped and we got aboard but we were told that it was too late to get a bus that would take us back to Penn. We had to walk back. By the way, while we were waiting for your bus there were numerous Gray Line buses that stopped and were able to accomodate their customers. I think that you should take care of your customers like they did in the future.
Regretfully:

I took your tour last weekend, and I just loved it!! The open-air buses and the hop-on hop-off features are super. I will definitely take your tours again, and will also recommend you to everyone I can. Great service for great value. Keep it up!! |

Hi I have recently just returned from NYC. I purchased a 3 day pass which was excellent value. I had several tour guides but 1 made my visit to NYC an even better experience. His name was Sherwood, he was so articulate and Knowledgable but more Importantly passionate, reassuring and so friendly. His stories moved us to tears, he had us laughing & Inspiring. Please pass on our best wishes from the Scottish group on the way to Ground Zero. We will talk about him & your City for years to come.

I have just come back from the downtown tour and am very disappointed. I purchased tickets online and then waited for 30min to exchange these tickets at the tour center. My family and I then went to get on the bus. What a nightmare. After seeing the line to board we decided to walk a few blocks to the next stop. This stop was less crowded, however after we waited 40min and three buses that were full we were told to go to another stop. We did so and waited over an hour to finally start our tour. This was almost 2 hours since we got the tickets. We got off at little italy and walked to Chinatown where we picked up the bus to the World Trade Center stop. We walked down to Battery Park. Here we waited another 45min while full buses came and went. In the meantime we saw many red Gray Line buses come and pick up their passengers. We got off at South Street seaport where my husband was reluctant to get off because he did not want to have to wait for the bus again. At this stop we waited about 30min and 2 full buses. At this stop, like a few others there was no attendant there so when the bus pulled up it was a mad rush to get the 2 or 3 open seat. After getting on we decided to stay on untill the end because by this time it was late and if we got off there would be no other buses coming to pick us up. Several times while waiting for the bus we saw people hailing cabs instead of waiting. At least half of our time was spent waiting in line and we felt we couldn't get off where we wanted because we didn't want to have to wait again for another bus. After wanting to do the tour for many years, I am not happy with the customer service or the experience. Your company must know how many tickets they sell, so they should have enough buses to accommidate the amount of people that day. Not worth the money! |

We bought the package that included 4 tours as well as other tickets. We liked our tour guides and found them informative. However, our tour guide, a short older Italian an named Tony, who did the Uptown tour was BY FAR, THE BEST tour guide we had. He was funny and enthusiastic with just enough sharp sarcasm to keep us on our toes. And most importantly, he knew his stuff. Initially we planned to get off at a few of the stops but after we realized how much we liked Tony, we decided to finish the tour with him. Excellent experience. Give him a raise !!! - Osceola Collins |
