My family and I visited NYC last July and had an amazing time! We took the City Sights bus and thoroughly enjoyed it!! The tour guides were very informative with a little bit of humor mixed in. We are coming back this July and are definitely planning on doing this tour again. Highly, highly recommended! I have told many of my friends about this and some are planning to visit and use this service!

| Went on several buses during our stay. Pete the tour guide(originally from Portugal) was a star and when, finding out we were from Sheffield, asked us if we were Sheffield United supporters he pleased my kids.
A guide called David on the night tour was mind blowingly clued up on NYC and was great.
An Iggy Pop look alike was also great (can't remeber his name) but one of the guys was from (significantly) out of town and had a pretty thick accent so he was difficult to follow.
On most of the buses the sound system could have done with a bit of a tweak particularly as we were sat at the back where most engine noise is but we will use your buses again when we are next in NYC. |

My daughter and I just spent 3 days in NYC and did your hop-on-hop-off bus tour. We loved it! We had David Gardner as our tour guide the 1st day of our tour and he was amazing. He is an encyclopedia of knowledge and was very excited about his job. We absolutely loved him. We did have 2 tour guides for a short time each who were very boring and didn't have much to say. One had such a heavy accent that we couldn't understand him. Unfortunately, we did not get their names because they did not introduce themselves. They were not very friendly. We got off those buses as soon as we could and waited for another bus to come along. For part of one tour, we got a guide named Simon who, also, was very good. But David Gardner was incredible! If we came back to NYC, we would consider using your tour again. It was a wonderful way to get around the city.

I went on a tour with Mamadou he was great!!! I never had someone who was so energetic. We I come back to New York I hope to take another tour with him. My son was so happy with him and his music. I never had a tour with music. It was a major change from the tour guide I had before him. I would recommend him to anyone coming to the city of New York. Thanks for making my few days in New York GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!

I do not typically write letters about tours that I take, but Jerry Murphy's tour of Brooklyn and part of Manhattan was exceptional. My wife and I have taken all types of tours in the US and abroad and we have rarely encountered such an amazing, thoughtful, funny, and bright, tour guide! Mr. Murphy's knowledge of NY history and contemporary issues was extraordinary and it enriched our visit in NY. I very much enjoyed his sharing his views about eminent domain and how many New Yorkers, like him, were upset about some of the development projects that had been started. It really felt like we had a ‘real’ New Yorker giving us tour and that he felt very strongly about his home! Please share our gratitude and our warm review of our tour with Mr. Murphy.

I saw up and down town within 2 days with CitySights NY. Out of five different buses only one was really excellent. The bus with the guide Kate (a middle aged woman). As I am foreigner it was very important the guide speaks clearly and with a good pronunciation and only Kate colud do it. The others spoke dirtily, sometimes without microfone and sightseeing with them was a waste of time. Fortunately Kate save my tour.

What a great way to see the city and all of the guides were very knowledgeable but Gilbert on the Brooklyn tour was relly great. I would most definitely recommend anyone going to NY city to take the hop on hop off tours, this will really give you alot of insight and history of the city.I would also like to give a BIG THANK YOU to one of your supervisors on the street the only name I know him by is Greene we seen him at sereral different stops around Times Square he was very helpful with a lot of the questions we had and is truley an asset to your company what a great guy!

Took your downtown NYC tour on Sunday 12,27. The bus left the 42nd St area around 2pm. The tour guide was ?? (Paul?). He was the best tour guide with tons of great trivia info. My sisters and I would take the tour again, when it warms up! One comment - Put the tip box on the wall of the bus and make it a hard box! We left a tip and hope the guide + driver got it. Too late to go back upstairs and give it to him because they were trying to pull back out into traffic. I really hope the guide got the tip we left because he deserved it! Give him a better tip box!

We took the last tour on Sunday night on December 27th. The fellows from Mali who sold our tickets were warm and gracious. Our tour guide, Dennis was beyond exceptional. He was knowledgeable, humorous, incisive, engaging and indefatigsble. His enthusiasm about Grand Central Station was infectious. His delivery was so compelling we almost forgot how cold we were. We certainly didn't mind standing in the cold when we heard his eloquent discription of the Christmas windows at Lord & Taylor. However, at $44.00 per tour ticket, no doubt the sheer numbers of people who enjoy this service are worthy of some kind of adequate heating as there was none. The top of the bus was only psrtially enclosed by a well worn plexiglass covering which impaired the otherwise spectacular view. To put it succinctly, reward Dennis, install heat, replace the plexiglass enclosure.Thank you for what you do well, and for the changes in 2010. Esther and Brian Yardumian-Smyth.

On a recent trip to the city to visit my daughter, Kristine, who's just moved there for a new job, we decided to do some sightseeing on your bus for the Thanksgiving weekend. Ever since the trip I've been wanting to tell you how much we enjoyed the tour -especially the evening trip to Brooklyn. What made it so special was the tour guide, Gilbert. All the tour guides were good, but Gilbert was over the top! He was knowledgeable, animated, and tried to make the trip fun for everyone - even some visitors from Denmark...mentioning spots of interest specifically for them. Please give him my regards and a pat on the back for his work. He truly made New York City come alive and I'm still quoting some of his comments. Thanks, an NYC Iowa fan

My husband and I did the 2 day tour with the special offer where you got a day free! EXCELLENT value, not only could you hop on and hop off to the places you wanted to go,but you had knowledgeable tour guides that gave you a piece of history in every area. The night tour was AMAZING well worth it, the views from Brooklyn are spectacular and make for some excellent pics. The tour also gave us tickets to a 2 hour cruise, liberty island and Empire State Building..well worth the money...really recommend if you want to see as much as possible of NYC...can't wait to go back:-) thanks!
