Below are some FAQs to help you get familiar with CitySights NY! Most of these questions are general, you can find more specific tour FAQs on their corresponding pages.

What forms of payment are accepted?For online bookings through our website, we accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express. For group bookings made by email, phone or fax, the same credit cards are accepted. Company and school checks are also accepted at least two weeks in advance of service. If you’d like to pay in cash, you can do so in person at one of our visitor centers in New York City.

How can I access my voucher?After making your purchase, you will be redirected to a page containing your voucher. An email confirmation with a link to the online voucher will also be sent to you within two hours of completing your purchase. If you are not able to access the voucher through one of these methods, you can use your email address, confirmation number and credit card number to print your voucher here.

I don’t have a printer! What do I do?Don’t worry, you can show your voucher on your mobile phone at one of our visitor center locations. If this is not possible, simply write down your reservation number(s) and bring them with you to our visitor center at Port Authoirty Bus Terminal, 42nd St. (btw. 8th & 9th Ave.). Make sure to bring valid photo identification.

Where do I redeem my voucher and pick up my tickets?Please redeem your voucher at one of the visitor center locations listed on your voucher. For all bus tours, your bus driver will simply scan your live ticket and you will be on your way. For other attractions, please refer to your voucher for instructions. All visitor centers are centrally located in Manhattan.

Where can I purchase tickets?The best place to purchase tickets is online – we are constantly running different promotions so you can end up saving big!

Do I need to specify a date of travel?No. When you start your order, you will have to choose the day you believe you are going to use the voucher. However, we do understand that plans change so you have one year from the date of purchase to begin using your pass. After one year, it will expire. Please note, some of our partner attractions do require reservations – please refer to the tour details for more information.

How long do I have to use my pass?Vouchers are valid for 12 months from the time of purchase, unless otherwise specified. Once you redeem your voucher in New York City, you’ll have a specified time to use your pass. Individual bus passes for our Uptown, Downtown, Brooklyn and Bronx tours are valid for whichever ticket was purchased, ranging from 24 hours – 96 hours. When you purchase a package that includes admission to multiple attractions, you’ll have 30 days to visit those attractions, with the exception of the CitySightseeing Hop-on, Hop-off Ferry which is 4 days and the Twilight Cruise which is 1 day.

When is your customer service call center open?Our customer service department is open daily from 7am to 10pm est. Groups of 25 or more are eligible for a complimentary group pick-up at most midtown hotels. Please contact us at info@citysightsny.com to make arrangements for group services

What is the age requirement for a child ticket?Children aged 3 –11 are eligible for a child price ticket on double decker tours, child under 3, who do not occupy a seat may travel free on our double decker tours. Please note child age range may vary for our 3rd party products.

How do I get a refund or exchange?Refund request must be made in writing with original tickets and/or vouchers to: Quality Control,1430 Broadway, Suite 507, New York, NY 10018.

Refund requests must be made within 30 days of the tour and must include ticket receipt for tour(s) purchased. No requests will be considered without your ticket and proof of purchase. Any refunds due will be made by mail. Refunds are not available on unused segments of a tour or unused admissions.

Are your vehicles handicapped accessible?

Yes. We have handicapped accessible vehicles available. We recommend that passengers requiring special assistance inform us at the time of reservation, and no later than 48 hours prior to departure. Please call 1-800-669-0051 for assistance.
